Works with the Principal to create the weekly Anchor Splash and both the school and PTG Website.
Eighth Grade Tribute Director - Jamie Luithly
Organizes the year-end Tribute, which is the eighth grade performance to celebrate their time at Saint Jude. Each spring, eighth graders put on a show for the school and for their families to show their appreciation.
Eucharistic Minister at School Masses - Admin
Organize Eucharistic Ministers for various school masses.
Girl Scouts - TBD
Oversee the multiple Girl Scout troops at the school. Organize the troops when they participate in various events throughout the school year.
Health Room - Jenny Rosenberg
Oversee the health room volunteers and the needs of the health room.

Event chair organizes and executes the fundraiser. Assembles table hosts and volunteers for various roles for the tea. Contacts vendors and places orders for the tea. Organizes the 8th graders for their role as servers.

Jaguar Jogathon - Kristin Nino & Michelle Rapoport
Event chair plans the yearly Jog-a-Thon, contacts vendors, assembles volunteers for various roles, and maintains pledge, Jamba Juice and cheer-o-gram forms. Volunteers are needed to assist as pace parents, lap parents and distribution of oranges, water and Jamba Juice.
Kid's Raffle - Jessica Gastwirt
Posts a signup for donation items for baskets, seeks volunteers for the assembly of baskets and raffle ticket sales after school.
Luke's Closet Uniform Exchange - Jamie Luithly & Denise Nastro
Accepts donations of clean, gently-used uniform pieces to sell once a month after school with all proceeds going directly to our sister school, Holy Spirit in Los Angeles. Uniforms are cleaned, carefully mended and organized with care. Parent volunteer opportunities available help organize and sell.
Meet the Masters - TBD
Facilitates the art curriculum at the school, teaches a lesson on each artist, and organizes volunteers to help with the specific art project each month for each grade.
Mother/Son Bowling - Sofia Hayes & Catherine Powers
New Family Mentoring - Room Parent Coordinators
Pairs new families with an existing mentor family to touch base regularly throughout the school year to support new families' transition to the school.
New Parent Orientation - PTG & Mr. Freel
Introduces new parents to the school on Packet Orientation Day. Explains pertinent information, such as volunteering, carpoint, uniforms, etc.
Olympic Day - Mrs. Chiappetta & Mr. Taylor
Assist with games, safety, refreshments and walking kids to/from the bathroom at Olympic Day.
Open House - Mr. Freel & PTG Board
Works alongside PTG and Principal to organize tours of the school, presentations, and vendors.
Parent Volunteer Service Hours - Lea Robison
Keep track of families' service hours as well as linking them with volunteer opportunities. Sends progress reports mid-year as well as a year-end statement.
Parish Bulletin Column Editor - Mr. Freel
Works with the Principal to ensure any school events and important information is submitted to the editor of the parish bulletin in a timely manner.
Party Books - April French-Cole & Ginny Huber
Host an event for other SJS parents and/or students to have fun, raise funds for the school, and build community.
School Mass Organizer - Mrs. Enos
Works alongside the teachers to organize and help execute our school masses.
Spirit Squad/CHEER - Dana Gropper
Lead coach for the SJS cheerleading squads.
STEM Fair - Mrs. Sutherland
Assist with setting up and executing the fair.
Swim Team - Nicole & Scott Bergen
Works alongside Swim team coaches to organize the swim team, team practices, and swim team events. Oversee volunteers to assist with swim meets.

Chairs to plan, secure vendors, and coordinate volunteers and refreshments. Volunteers needed to assist chair with set-up and clean-up of the SJS Winter Dance.
Yearbook - 8th Grade with Teacher assistance
Takes photos throughout the year, and creates the annual yearbook.
